Chris Thiagarajah, M.D. is an Oculoplastic Surgeon in New Jersey at the Eye Care & Surgery Center where he specializes in Cosmetic Eye Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. Dr. Thiagarajah earned his Medical Degree with Honors from Howard University College of Medicine and was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society. After completing an internship at Beth Israel Hospital of the Albert Einstein College of Medicine, and a Residency in Ophthalmology at Howard University he attended Fellowships in both Neuro-Ophthalmology and Oculoplastic Surgery.
Dr. Thiagarajah is a specialist in the cosmetic and reconstructive surgery of the face, eyelids and structures around the eyes. He performs cosmetic eye plastic surgery including "eye lifts" or blepharoplasty to help patients with puffy, baggy or tired looking eyelids, brow lifts and mid facelifts as well as reconstructive eye plastic surgery procedures for eyelid drooping, or ptosis, and skin cancers around the eye. In addition he is experienced in the reconstruction of the bony structures around the eye. For those patients wishing facial and skin rejuvenation he is facile with entire range of non surgical treatments such as BOTOX® Cosmetic treatments and injections as well as fillers to smooth fine lines and wrinkles including Restylane® and JUVÉDERM™ injections.
